Welcome, Benvenuti to the 2010 Italian Film festival.

We are pleased to announce the screening dates and locations of the 2010 edition of the festival, New Zealand’s 15th consecutive event.  These are detailed to the left of this page.  The period the festival screens in each city is similar to 2009, so organise your schedule as you do each year to keep that period as free as possible.  A bonus in Auckland is that the festival is extending to a third weekend.  There is only one screening location change.  In Wellington we are moving back to the Paramount Cinema.  We are very pleased continuing the festival’s association with all those cinemas.

We are also pleased to announce the availability of the DVD box set of the majority of films from the 2009 Cathay Pacific Italian Film festival.  There continues to be strong demand for the festival’s DVD sets and I know a number of you are waiting for me to make this announcement.  I still have some of the 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008 sets available.  Please see the DVD sales pages for more information and how to order your copy.

We are also excited to announce the creation of a new web site dedicated to the sale of Italian films on DVD.  Click on the logo on the left to go to that site to view the products on offer and current promotion.

If you would like to receive notification of future updates to this site, such as film details and location times please complete the small number of details requested on the registration page.  If you did that in previous years, you do not need to do it again.  All those who newly register go in the draw for 2 opening night tickets, including the post-movie gala celebration, in their city of choice.

The announcement of the films with screenings schedules will be made from late August.
