Stefano Nardini has been playing music since he was five years old having moved from the Music Conservatory to become a moderately successful independent punk rock star.

However those times have passed; he is no longer featured on the front cover of magazines. At the age of 36 he is taking a look around: he plays in a band with a wild bunch of twenty year olds, he no longer has a real bed to sleep in or a girlfriend. All he has left is a guitar and a car with doors that don’t always open. So the time has come for him to find shelter, go back to his family that he has not seen in a long time, and think about his life.

At home, everything has changed. His father, having suffered a heart attack, now only plays golf. His mother goes to ‘sciamanic journey’ seminars. Michela his younger sister has left everything behind to go work in an aquarium for dolphins, and then there is Alberto, his older brother who has taken on the burden of keeping the family spirit going and working in the family’s cherry factory.

Taken off guard by a series of incredible revelations and discoveries about his family, Stefano finds himself unwillingly faced with taking care of everyone and everything when he should be taking care of himself.

“Quirky, beleivable. A genuinely funny, original Italian comedy” Variety.
